Tasty Bakery specializes in amazing artisan gluten-free baked goods with dairy-free, naturally sweetened (low glycemic) + vegan options. Organic, natural, premium and local ingredients used. We also have some grain free treats. We bake in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. In many of our treats we use coconut nectar or coconut crystals which is low glycemic. Saturdays we sell at Ann Arbor Kerrytown Farmers' Market.

Well, oh my goodness...I visit Tasty Bakery every week for my addiction...Berry Bars, and this week there were Lemon Cloud Cookies on the counter, which I simply could not pass up. Uh-oh...another addiction, lolol...wonderful people, terrific bakery, great location. Five stars, you betcha!!!

I called Julie last minute to order a birthday cake for myself. My husband and I came to the conclusion (rather quickly) that the chocolate cake with chocolate frosting cake we ordered was the best birthday cake we'd ever had. I can't wait to order from her again!!
I've been buying Julie's baked good for many years, at this point. I love the peanutbutter cookies that melt in my mouth. The brownies are practically dangerous, they are so tasty. I cut them into four pieces and eat them like fudge, because they are too rich to eat as a cookie. My favorite cookie of theirs is the oatmeal with nuts and dried cherries. Oh, yum, yum. I am grateful that they've started branching out into more savory goods as well! Delightful people, delightful food.
Tasty Bakery makes literally the most delicious brownie I have ever eaten in my life. And by some magical alchemy, the brownie is that delicious every single time I buy it. Besides hand crafting satisfying and wholesome gluten free baked goods, Julie and Ran are also delightful people who care deeply about the community. That's why almost every single ingredient is of the highest quality, and sourced locally. For a yummy gluten free treat at a reasonable price, I always recommend Tasty Bakery!
