I love everything about the place – ok so this is the best chinease restaurant I have tried. We love Asian food and are always on the look for a great place. As we don't like greasy and fattening food then our selections of restaurants that fit the criteria gets shorten. But this place sure fits our taste. Owner gives bad customer service – I have dined at tasters wok more times than I can count and I have also ordered food for pick up an equal number of times, not only myself but with all of my co-workers. I called in an order for pick up 2/14/11 just as usual how ever this time I was told we dont accept payment over the phone. Yum Yum Yum! – Everything is great. The best food of its kind i have ever had!
Unforgettable Chinese food, great menu for omnivores and vegans – I say this because we first went when Taster's was in downtown Edmonds with our 5 and 8 year old girls--the only place we could get tasty vegetarian food. We waited anxiously until they found their new place and designed a bigger, more beautiful and fuller menu, closer to our home. New Flat Screen TV's – Taster's Wok is a Cozy Neighborhood Restaurant. The Dinning experience is great. The Bar is definately local central with some professional drunks who make the bar scene interesting for people watchers. It has two different types of locals there. It has the young liberal types who range in orientation from disconnected to those are barely hanging on. Taster's Wok + Taster's Chicken = Scrumptious! – I can't speak about the bar part of the restaurant, as I don't go to a restaurant to sit at a bar, I can comment on the food. I've been going to Taster's Wok for about 10 years. The food is absolutely STUNNING. I highly recommend the Taster's Chicken (but ask for the sauce on the side - it detracts from the chicken). The General's chicken is also very good. Actually, not much there ISN'T wonderful. Might want to get a reservation - it gets busy! But it's worth it.
BEST KARAOKE!! – This is my favorite place for Karaoke! They have karaoke on Fri & Sat nights (& sometimes weeknights, call first) usually starting around 10. I love the crowd here. Everyone cheers and claps for the singers and there are a few regulars that are absolutely FANTASTIC! Taster's Wok bar: nice facility, trailer park crowd – I've gone to Taster's Wok a couple of weekends and hung out at the bar, where they have karaoke every night. These are my impressions... The Good: Very good karaoke song selection (and not just the cheap brands -- they carry good quality discs by makers such as Sound Choice and DK Karaoke). Not a bad dish.. – While service was slow, the food once it arived was quite tasty. Don't get the black bean sauce though.. it was the one bummer of the meal. Everything else was really good especially the prawns with walnuts in a coconut milk sauce.
