We go here a lot... I decided to try for the first time their Pineapple Upside Down Sundie ! OMG That is the best thing we have ever tried !!! If you haven't had the opportunity to try this you surley don't know what you are missing !! Taste just like an upside down pineapple cake ! It was wonderful....going to have that again ! Thank you Tastee Freez for that suggestion....Yummy!!

New pinrapple upside down sundae is a rip off. Literally three bites of ice cream and a tough slice of pineapple wedged in bottom of the cup. Not worth the 4 bucks charged. Seriously? Now I know why Frostbite is so busy!

Tastee Freez on Patton Ave. (old location and new) means summer to me. From the late 1950's to current day, I've been a regular. I eagerly await opening day each year and get in extra visits before closing day in the fall. The staff is always cheerful no matter how long the lines. Plain vanilla soft-serve is my favorite. West Asheville wouldn't be the same without it!
