Ok, so I feel like there needed to be a more critical review, given the high ratings/reviews (which is partly what brought my family here). Now, I will preface my review by saying that it's possible we were just there on a bad day, given that we only saw two servers and they came by to flip the sign to 'closed' several hours before they were supposed to close. We tried Tastebuds Bistro for the first time and honestly, we were blown away. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly—like they actually enjoy being there, which made a big difference. The food? Incredible. Every dish felt like it was made with care, not rushed or overly fancy—just really good, thoughtful cooking. We’re still talking about the country fried steak, it was that good. No wait at peak Sunday brunch hours! A miracle of delicious home made food in an authentic Oregon Coast diner with laid back vibes. Highly recommend the scratch English muffins and special recipe sausage patties! Fast friendly service, bottomless fresh coffee and eclectic decor round out the experience.

Outstanding. The menu includes plenty of breakfast options, a huge variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. Me and the person with me ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and a Denver skillet. The melt was hot and juicy, the onions rings light and flaky. Delicious. I was told the Denver skillet tasted very, VERY, good. Put this together with some of the best wait staff I’ve ever encountered, and you can be sure I will be going back for more. Our first visit to Tastebuds today! How have we not been here before? Classic diner vibes on a busy Sunday morning. Our server was excellent, and brought some of the best drip coffee I've had in a while. We sampled the chicken & waffles, and the berry stuffed french toast. Huge food, and very tasty. I particularly like the wide selection at the hot sauce counter. Stop in for all day breakfast with lots of options!
