My husband ordered the prime rib chicken fried steak, it was huge and I didn’t have time to get a pic of it before he started devouring it. I had the Mexican skillet and homemade English muffins that almost melt in your mouth. Definitely will be back and recommend others to eat breakfast here.
This cute little Bistro is right on hwy 101 as you get to Siletz Bay. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu with all the staples. Most everything seems to be made on site from the sausage links to the handbreaded chicken Fried Steak to a variety of gravies. The portions are massive! Ok, so I feel like there needed to be a more critical review, given the high ratings/reviews (which is partly what brought my family here). Now, I will preface my review by saying that it's possible we were just there on a bad day, given that we only saw two servers and they came by to flip the sign to 'closed' several hours before they were supposed to close. This place is great, we got here for breakfast the service was spot on, the coffee and orange juice were fresh, the food was delicious like home cooking my eggs over easy were perfect,bacon was crispy not grease and the hash browns too, the waffle was crispy and soft in all the right places. Outstanding. The menu includes plenty of breakfast options, a huge variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. Me and the person with me ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and a Denver skillet. The melt was hot and juicy, the onions rings light and flaky. Delicious. I was told the Denver skillet tasted very, VERY, good. Put this together with some of the best wait staff I’ve ever encountered, and you can be sure I will be going back for more.
