The owner was warm , welcoming and attentive. She helped adjust my order to bring my total bill down $ . I was really hoping to finally find a good breakfast location in town. My pancakes were burnt on the outside raw in the center and in edible, the burnt biscuit was hidden by covering the top burnt part in gravy, the gravy itself was odd with dry sage or oregano sprinkled on the top , and lastly the hash browns , I assume real potatoes soaked in Greece and soggy. Outstanding. The menu includes plenty of breakfast options, a huge variety of hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. Me and the person with me ordered a patty melt with onion rings, and a Denver skillet. The melt was hot and juicy, the onions rings light and flaky. Delicious. I was told the Denver skillet tasted very, VERY, good. Put this together with some of the best wait staff I’ve ever encountered, and you can be sure I will be going back for more. We tried Tastebuds Bistro for the first time and honestly, we were blown away. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly—like they actually enjoy being there, which made a big difference. The food? Incredible. Every dish felt like it was made with care, not rushed or overly fancy—just really good, thoughtful cooking. We’re still talking about the country fried steak, it was that good. Tried this for breakfast this morning with family. Was not a hard location to find as it was nestled right across the street in it's own lot from Pelican Brewery off 101. Upon arriving, we were seated quickly despite the Bistro looking busy/packed with patrons. Before I get to the food - want to stress that the service was 5 star across the board. My husband ordered the prime rib chicken fried steak, it was huge and I didn’t have time to get a pic of it before he started devouring it. I had the Mexican skillet and homemade English muffins that almost melt in your mouth. Definitely will be back and recommend others to eat breakfast here.
