Taste of Thailand Terrific – The food is worth overlooking the need for an update. It's been said that you should only come if you have time to wait in line, but I've only had to wait once or twice- at peak dinner hours. The lunch buffet is out of this world, but not for the timid. These are not Minnesota spices! Waitstaff are friendly (most), just not overly attentive or fast. If the ambiance were better, I couldn't get a seat, so I hope they don't re-do it soon.
Minnesota Food, again. – The curry I had, I didn't recognize has no complex spices to it. The heat seemed to come from all hot pepper. The Pahd Thai was sweet and tasted like Ketsup. I am glad to go back to LA.
worth the wait – While service may be slow at times, the food is well worth it! My sister moved out of the state and she has to go to T of T everytime she comes back to visit.
Authentic Delicious Thai – I spent 2 months in Thailand and this is by far some of the best, most authentic Thai I have had in any city. Forget about the decor and concentrate on the food!!!! Only restaurant in the Twin Cities that will actually give me food "Thai hot."
thai it – My girlfriend introduced me to the delightful tastes of Taste of Thailand. It became our little spot. Now we discovered the new one that opened not too long ago close to our apartment in East St. Paul. Thank You
A real treat! – Arriving at 8:30 p.m. on a weekday night, Taste of Thailand was busy, but only required a short wait. It was worth it. My companion and I enjoyed sweet iced teas while waiting for our main dishes. I had a vegetable curry that was a good prtion, but I finished it, nonetheless. The service was a little sparse, but did accomodate us, letting us stay after close to eat dessert long after the other guests had departed. Mangoes and sticky rice was never so good. Very affordable. I will make many returns.
A St. Paul Treasure – This is my favorite Thai food restaurant. It is truly one of St. Paul's many treasures. They have a large menu with great descriptions. Even those who have never eaten Thai before (or are a bit afraid to) can find something to suit their taste. The portions are quite large and the price is very reasonable (most entres $7-10).
Taste of Thailand has a 4 star rating with 319 reviews.
Taste of Thailand is closed now. It will open on Monday at 9:00 a.m.
