I’ve lived here for years, and Taste has been good but not great. Recently there is a new manager and he made everything incredible! Now it’s one of my top places

Taste Of Smithfield ( The Ham House) is a great spot in Downtown Smithfield among many antique and vintage age gift shops. The service is friendly and quick .I had sweet potato ham biscuits. They just melt in your mouth. You can sample dozens of kinds of roasted peanuts from chocolate covered to spicy. They have front and rear entrance with parking on the street and in the back. They have several handicap spaces right behind the rear entrance which is very convenient.
Very nice place to eat! Good food, good service, not to mentions the endless flavors of Va. peanuts to sample!
Wonderful place to stop in for a bite while shopping on Main Street in Historic Downtown Smithfield. Good atmosphere, smiling staff, and you can't say enough about the Smithfield ham.
Food was good but the menu has changed their best hamburger is off the menu 😕
The first few times we came here we were blown away by the quick service and the food. ESPECIALLY FRIDAY BURGER NIGHT! Literally the best burgers we have had in Hampton Roads. Then a little over a month ago the menu was slashed in half and no more burger nights! � Not only did the menu get slashed but it seems the food changed aswell. A lot blander than before. I read a reply to a review that said it was supposedly coming back. I hope that enough people say something, because it needs to come back.
Surprisingly delicious!! Everything was amazing, especially the sweet potato appetizer and collards! I can't wait to go back!!
