Surprised to find such tasty vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes in Alaska, which were very close to home cooked meals
Food is very tasty. We loved paneer and chicken masala.
After a long day driving from Seward, this place satisfied our craving for some spicy Indian food.
Stumbled upon Taste of India while in Anchorage and had an incredible experience. The food is simply amazing—especially the homemade paneer, which is a standout. Ali provided excellent, attentive service throughout our meal. Highly recommended to anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine!
The food was average at best and certainly not memorable enough to justify the hype. What bothered me more was the disconnect between the branding and the experience. The restaurant is called "Taste of India" and is decorated with Bollywood imagery, creating a strong impression of an authentic Indian establishment. If the restaurant's roots and culinary influences are different, I'd rather see that represented honestly instead of relying on generic Indian branding.
