Star City Roll is one of the best rolls on the menu SUSHI is always fantastic - especially the yellowtail!!
I came in looking for just sushi, the chef was extremely helpful and made my experience as close to old fashion as it can get . If your looking for Umami this is the place for sure . Best fish and the best prepared I have had in years . Anyone new or have been eating sushi this is the place for you .
Amazing food! I loved the Thai fried ice cream (the dessert was my favorite part)and the Hawaiian fried rice. My 2 friends ordered Mango Chicken and they were very happy and satisfied. We all 3 had a great time and the owner, Evelyn, even walked by our table and smiled and waved at us. The server said “that’s the owner”. The server said if she wasn’t so busy she would walk over and talk to us but we understand being as awesome as a restaurant as Taste of Asia is, and being so busy, she doesn’t have much time to talk. My husband and I tried Taste of Asia over the weekend. The food was very disappointing. My husband and I shared the Roanoke chicken and it was simply OK. The sushi was possibly the worst we have ever eaten, sorry to say. The Evelyn roll tasted OK but had a weird aftertaste. It was almost like the Tuna was old or something. Not fresh. The surf and turf/mango tango rolls were not very fresh either. The staff were wonderful and kind. We didn’t really complain but we will not return. Also will not recommend.
