5-Star Review Taste is a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious meal in Palo Alto! The food was flavorful, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a 5-star spot—I’d happily return for another great meal!
Great choice for Chinese. My favorites are the chili oil wontons, hot and sour soup, and beef in flaming red oil. Food isn't super spicy - decent level of heat.
I mostly get takeout, so take my ratings for service and atmosphere with a grain of salt. But the food is GREAT! I love szechuan food, and I have never had anything like Taste's green prickly ash fish stew. Wow! I didn't know what green prickly ash was, but it's the American relative of szechuan peppers, so the spicy tingling power is super strong because they don't have to be shipped across the Pacific.
