If I could give no stars I would. Called to see if the office was accepting new patients, was told yes but 8weeks out. So I said ok and was asked what the reason for an appointment was. I told the secretary I was having an issue with IBS and was concerned as I am unsure with the office I was previously at were not able to give me an exact time frame when I was due for a colonoscopy. She then insisted I would have to get my records sent and the Dr. would review them to determine if they would want to take me on as a patient. ... read more
Does not accept Medicaid unlike what google says.
If you are looking for a Gastroenterologist who is caring, and who will take the time to explain even the smallest details of your condition, and who will listen to your concerns, don't waste your time looking for another Doctor, Dr Tassakis is the best. I know it takes a little bit of time to get an appointment, but it is worth the wait.
One of the nicest Docs I have ever met. Do not hesitate to make an appointment. Listens to your concerns, answers questions, puts you at ease.
