Tarra Boyd is a compassionate and generous provider and I recommend her to any patient looking for a primary care provider.
Amazing person and caring doctor. But trust me if you don't follow instructions on care plans you will fail. I had a a1c 12.6 in 2022 and I half way followed what she instructed my a1c stayed high and my body was eating itself and I lost alot of weight. Well once I started doing the plan and followed with diet and meds the a1c dropped under 7.8 pretty quick. Thanks tara for being awesome. And for caring
I truly will miss Tara Boyd at the Novant Medicare in Mint Hall Charlotte NC. I have been with her the last 3 years. I really appreciate that she took the time with me. Not just the 15 teen minters She took the time to explaine any problems you may have. I never felt rushed out.
Dr. Boyd has been my PCP for more than a year now. She has an impeccable bedside manner and will go to lengths to explain medically what is happening in our bodies. She is also experienced in providing proper therapeutics/medicines that helped me to get to lower dosages of BP medicines within a short amount of time (whereas another doctor maxed out my dosage to where I could not go any higher if an emergency were to ever occur). Dr. Boyd has been nothing but a blessing in my life while serving as my PCP.
From the moment my appointment began, Ms. Tarra Boyd was rude, unpleasant, and displayed a significant lack of professionalism. Despite being only a few minutes into the visit, she kept reminding me that the appointment was limited to 15 minutes and that "only one" concern could be addressed. Even after I specified the "one" concern I wanted to discuss, she did not listen and provided no next steps or guidance.
