My daughter and I discovered this treasure when we came to Houston one day. The food was delicious!! I couldn't believe how good it was. We ordered Pakora's (appetizer) along with a full coarse meal. We nearly made ourselves sick. Eating sooo much. They had quite a few vegan and gluten free choices. Trust me we will be back!
I've been to this location before & other locations as well, the food (as usual) is really good & the service was not bad at all. I recommend the samosas & the green salad. I always get that with my meal.
Tarka Indian Kitchen - Great tasting food !! I come to this 19th Street location often. Parking is easy, service is great. I have been trying all their curries, recommend Chicken Vindaloo, very flavorful dish, good portion size. Or get their Mattar paneer, or Chana masala with rice, for all vegetarian meal. Also try their Mango and Strawberry flavored drinks.
