I would like to highly commend the Store Manager, Matt, at the Round Rock Tarka Indian Kitchen for his exceptional character. After a stressful issue with a DoorDash delivery, Matt stepped in immediately- even though the mishap was Not Tarka’s fault. He expeditiously reviewed the in-store video to confirm what happened and then personally drove a replacement order to my home on his own time. Ubereats seriously fumbled an order I made from here (and ubereats never fixed the problem) but ownership and staff of Tarka completely went out of their way to fix the problem with interest on their own behalf.... making sure I got my money's worth where ubereats did not. Y'all ruined my night. I'm normally a loyal customer... I've gotten food from you at least half a dozen times... tonight I ordered on Ubereats... and half of my order didn't show up (2 orders of naan, 1 order of veggie samosas, one of my drinks) ...and what did show up wasn't what I ordered... We ordered through Uber Eats and specifically ordered paneer tikka masala. The receipt clearly showed paneer. However, we received chicken tikka masala instead. My partner is vegetarian and cannot eat chicken, so this was not a minor mistake — it made the entire meal inedible for him. When we called the restaurant, we were told there was nothing they could do because the order was placed through a third party.
