Counsel unilaterally withdrew from representation without giving proper advance notice or securing informed consent, which left me without legal representation unexpectedly. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.
Such an amazing person, helped my ex husband get his daughters from their mother. Initially it was joint custody from across state lines. Then we got them and now we have relocated with them to Texas. Got them at ages 3&5 they are now 18&21 and we have had her over the years for everything as pertains to them.
Where do I start? Positives: -works to settle quickly -her paralegal Ellen is professional and pleasant Negatives: -will accept any settlement even if it screws her clients over -overcharges. She will tell you she lowered her rate when her representation is not worthy of the lower rate, and her "actual rate" is laughable based on the counsel she provides -will fraternize with opposing counsel and work with them to settle quickly by feeding her clients into the fire -will make her clients do her job for her then charge for it... read more
Run. Run far and run fast. Is not an expert in divorce or child custody. Over charges. Has a reputation locally where both judges and other lawyers know she is often replaced due to poor representation of her clients. Terminates clients without telling them AND tells the opposing counsel first!! Run.... EDITED: Ps reply to Tarenas comment - she represented my stepmom who we helped FIRE her and replace her with a better lawyer. Don't make me post copies of the emails and other court docs as proof.
