Always listens and responds to my needs, stays on the problem until it's resolved. He is the best and I feel like he cares for me.
Have been seeing this doctor for over 10 yrs. Excellent physician. Has become difficult to get an appointment, in a reasonable time frame. Also, wait time has increased. My appointments this year, were rescheduled more than not. Feel like he is always rushed and has little time to talk as in the past. His nurse is amazing and knowledgeable. She is the reason I have stayed. Moving to another heart doctor.

Was assigned to Dr. Dorfman. Had high blood pressure problems. Was given medications. None worked. He continued medication although not working. Blood pressure matters became serious with reading in the lower 200s. He became frustrated and assigned me to a Physician Assistant. She could not help either. Was told to keep trying medication. Had to leave him and seek solution elsewhere which I did with great success. Taken off the medication Dr. Dorfman prescribed as dangerous. I have been with Patel for appr.4 yrs. He never follows thru the test he has gave me. Weeks later some one calls with no info. He spends 3 to five minutes each visit. My PC helps me more on my heart. Open heart and many stents. Keep telling him I need help. So beware. Lost eye on right side called and they said he was to busy. Could be a stroke. Said they would call today on tests. A LIE NO CALL!!
I love Dr.Johnston and Mrs. Beasley. I have been coming to Dr Johnston for over 20 years. The group is great!
My husband has literally become zombie like under his care. He went from a very active man to a man that cannot feed himself. Cannot bath himself. And sleeps 80 % of the day.
Very positive and kind. Will take time to answer all your questions & concerns. Always a smile. Highly recommended!
