I went in to see Dr Tenney at the Westside urgent care clinic with a barely functioning knee. 8 out of 10 pain. She had me take an ultrasound but she somehow missed the fact that my kneecap had shifted and I was bone on bone. She told me to take ibuprofin for pain and wait 3 weeks for an MRI. No brace, no crutches, no nothing. Ortho doc said the MRI was unnecessary and that I may have done longterm damage waiting 3+ weeks for the MRI before ortho appt. I do not recommend this doc for urgent care.

I was unimpressed with my medical care from Dr Tara Tenney at the Westside PAMF urgent care today. My family and I just switched from Kaiser to PAMF for 2025. I have two health situations that I brought up with Dr Tenney. She let me know that they require referrals to internal specialists by an assigned primary care doctor but that PAMF won’t be able to assign one to us, apparently due to a shortage of primary care doctors in their system. My experience at the Westside clinic has been consistently positive. Until yesterday. My 10 year old had a laceration on his finger and we needed a quick help. From the moment we walked into the clinic the receptionist acted quickly and got us a triage nurse right away. The triage nurse was a sweet caring person, asked my child age appropriate questions and made sure he felt as comfortable as possible. Dr Tenny was compassionate and caring when my husband came in complaining of dizziness. She listened and sympathized and then gave clear directions on what to do next. I highly recommend her.
