Dr Mills performed my first exploratory endometriosis surgery and I really wish I would have done more research before allowing it to happen. To start, the medical gaslighting I experienced while working with her was nothing short of offensive, dismissive, and traumatizing. After my surgery I was still in horrible pain and when I had my 2 week follow up with Dr Mills and informed her of this, I was dismissed and basically told I needed more time to recover. Dr. Tara Mills is amazing—always friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and thorough. I've been seeing her for about 20 years, and her nurse practitioner is excellent as well. Update: It is incredibly frustrating to schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment with anyone at Renaissance. I often have to wait on hold for 20+ minutes. Their website offers the option to schedule an appt, but it then states that the provider's schedule is not currently published, making the feature essentially unusable. Dr. Tara Mills has been absolutely amazing throughout my current pregnancy. From the very beginning, she has been open, informative, and incredibly friendly. As a first-time mom, this is such a vulnerable and sometimes overwhelming experience, but she makes me feel completely comfortable and supported at every appointment.
