I really hate to be critical of any health provider bc most are exceptional; however from my experience across several years, Dr. Graff is abrasive and makes an already uncomfortable and scary situation even more difficult. I would imagine she's competent, but so are many others in the Des Moines area that provide compassionate, patient-cemtered care. Saw Graff for 9 years. My breast cancer recurred this November and she ghosted me. Never heard a word, an email, a text or call saying what "our" plan would be. I'm post surgery 4 months--my scheduled appt next week was canceled last minute and now shifts to mid-May. This is not the care I deserve or think highly of. If she is so busy traveling on medical trials she should not schedule patients. A sad situation and irreversible damage physically for me.
Tara is by far the best doctor I have ever had. She will fight for the patient and make sure they are getting the best care possible. I’m shocked at the negative reviews and I have nothing but nice things to say about her. I was diagnosed with extremely rare type of cancer and she took it on. Cancer is terrible but Dr. Graff got me through it and has been the best oncologist I have ever had. I don't always agree with her but I trust her enough to leave final decisions up to her. She has given me back my life and works to keep me cancer free. The best.
I was so thankful to have Dr. Tara Graff as my oncologist. She doesn't waste time getting you in for tests and appointments, which is extremely important when dealing with cancer. When calling her office I would always receive a same day call back. I think she is great!!
