I have lived at Tara Arms for over a year, and let me say it is both a pleasure and a privilege to live here. The rent onlygoes up 5 percent and is based on income. Water, trash, sewage, and electricity are included. Miss Rebecca works diligently to keep things running smoothly and effectively. It's not easy, and sometimes, it takes longer than expected. My experience living here was terrible the elevator was always broken and stink, the walls weren’t properly painted, the floors are always stained and they never let anyone inside the building even if it’s ups, I dealt with an inconsiderate and annoying neighbor below me that complained about everything I had to make countless of reports..every hallway has a strong smell..full of drama everyday with people screaming and cussing outside..maintenance was terrible you have to constantly call the front office for help..the previ... read more
It tells you online that it's based on your income but then when I emailed customer service I was told you have to make twice the rent. You have to call the number online to make an appointment to apply. Seriously?! Somebody is still stuck in the 90's.
Location is everything! I love that I can walk where I need to go. The rent includes electricity, water, trash, pest control, etc. Our one bedroom is quite spacious & even has an extra storage room. The doors are extra wide for wheelchairs +/or walkers. There is a nice laundry room & a community room. The manager is polite & professsional. Tried calling several times over a several week period and they have not answered once. Left a message and still haven't gotten a call back. Currently trying to get an apartment there but can't get in contact with them. Bad service.
