We are so sorry to hear that Sammy has been diagnosed with asthma. Cats are notoriously sneaky about illness because they are so good at hiding their symptoms. Asthma does not cause a fever or a limp, which were the symptoms Sammy presented to us with, nor would it be the cause for a bloody nose. A definitive asthma diagnosis would have to have been made through thoracic radiographs, which weren’t indicated based on his symptoms in our office. I’ve been going to Tara animal hospital for over 30 years. Ever since I was 16 with my first cat and I’m now I am 49. I have always trusted them.
