One of my favorite LA restaurants. The food is always good, regardless of what night of the week or weekend you go there. The oxtail dumplings, snap peas, octopus skewers, and the eggplants are my favorite small dishes and the ribeye and the whole snapper are the favorite mains. The only food item that I had and did not like was the skirt steak. It had no flavor whatsoever. Top it all off with the strawberry custard and the chocolate bar for dessert.
I walked in with my family visiting LA. Didn’t know what to expect but this place sure did blow away our expectations. The food was AMAZING. Lamb shank melting off the bone, extra crispy fried snapper and cauliflower and amazing small plates. But what really took this experience over the top was our server at the end, JONAH, bringing us one of the most the best desserts, the strawberry crostada, we’ve ever had.
