GET A SECOND OPINION. On a dentist’s referral, I visited Tar Heel Periodontics for a non-healing lesion on my son’s gum. The doctor initially raised concerns about cancer but quickly stated a 99.99% certainty it was not cancerous, which was unsettling. I am surprised there aren't many more reviews about Tar Hell Periodontics. I had a tooth extracted today. From the moment I walked in the service was extraordinary. This is a very professional shop. Dr. Michael Kretchmer and his team were great. I felt nothing, they were constantly asking me how I felt and letting me know what was going on. Their follow up, the same day, was well appreciated. I can't say enough good things about them.

I recently had my stitches removed from a gum surgery. Kimberly did a great job of removing the stitches - painless and quick. I appreciate her experience and she made me feel comfortable throughout this process. thank you

Thank you, Tar Heel Periodontics – Raleigh, for the outstanding service, care and understanding when doing my tooth extraction and implant. What was extreme anxiety on my part was met with reassurance. My moment of panic was met with concern and quiet patience. Dr. Stella, Assistants Saran and Aylin are absolutely top notch. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence with compassion made a notable difference, and I truly appreciate it. I would not hesitate to recommend this group. Five stars!
