Just what Richmond needed! La Estrella serves delicious food fast! Everything gets done fresh when you order with fresh ingredients. The staff is really friendly and accomodating... even though the place is tiny. I love the Alambre, which is like a beef fajita with a twist... they grill the beef strips with bacon, peppers and cheese... but if you want to go lighter they serve up a wide variety of veggie items, very AFFORTABLE!
Surprisingly great! When I first walked into the tiny Taqueria, I didn't expect much, but they sure surprised me! The best part of all was that they made my food all fresh and quickly, on top of being cheap! Also the cashier handed me my food with a great smile on her face, and that added spice to my food!

This place, altought very tiny, serves great food... the staff are very friendly and clean... they serve everything from SF style burritos, to home-style made sopes...as well as many vegetarian items. the prices are very affordable compared to the local mexican businesses nearby, even on their seafood. The best item has to be the Alambre, or if you crave something lighter, go for the crispy tacos and a jamaica!
