Specialties Contemporary Mexican Seafood History Established in 1984. Margaritaville Capitola has been welcoming guests to Capitola for over 30 years. In January 2015 Sunset Hospitality took ownership of the restaurant and did a full renovation. We are now open and serving guests at our new 25 seat panoramic bar.

So bummed, lately these last few months the care in preparing the burritos and/or tacos lack Mijos's known greatness...cold meat, the one tortilla breaks easy, and just too much cabbage..done trying to get a good hot meal there
Visited Mijos Restaurant for some tacos, and it did not disappoint! The Baja fish tacos were the highlight—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with fresh toppings. The meat tacos were also delicious, though I wish they had a bit more seasoning. The chips and salsa were a nice touch, bringing that authentic Mexican feel. We came here for the fish tacos, based on other reviews. I would definitely come back for the Baja again. The grilled fish tacos were good, but lacking flavor compared to the Baja. I would definitely come back to try some more of the menu.
