My grandmother lived here for the last two years of her life. The staff were professional, responsive, and kind, and helped to make those two years good. They were accommodating and helpful when she received hospice care and passed away. I never had to worry about the care my grandmother was receiving, and I appreciated that there was always someone at the front desk whenever I visited. My mother has been here for almost five years. When she entered your facility, she was able to take care of herself most of the time. As the years passed her dementia started to take a toll on her body. She now requires constant care such as help showering, toileting, getting in and out of bed, etc. The staff at Tappan Zee have been wonderful to my mother. She is always clean and well kept. Large and clean private rooms at the most reasonable prices in the county. Very hands on caring staff from the office staff to aides to maintenance crew and wellness staff. Clean, updated and sunny and bright public areas. Residents are very well cared for and known by name and families are welcomed, acknowledged and kept well informed.

I am positively impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I believe the in-house programs stimulate the residents to participate in various activities and theater offerings. Staff works at keeping residents upbeat.
