It's Slipped Tapas, small Spanish appetizers that one can make a meal of, are hot. But this place was better when I dined there several years ago. The dishes sound great on the menu, but at times the ingredients used are not what they're billed to be and the preparation is mediocre. They used to serve a large Sherry, now it's half the size. It's OK but there are much better.

Yummy Spanish food Tapeo Restaurant has awesome Spanish food! My favorite is Sopa de Ajo, which is garlic soup. I have never had anything like it. The restaurant is decorated in an authentic Spanish theme. It is bright, inviting and cosy. It is a great place to go for a date or with friends. The food is inexpensive and you get plenty of it. The food can be slow coming out, but it is nice to sit with a drink and relax while you wait for the food. PROS: Great Spanish food, nice atmosphere CONS: Food can take a while after you ... read more

Great Little Tapas Restuarant This is a small restaurant and bar. In the summer, they also have an outdoor patio. On Friday or Saturday nights, there will be a long wait unless you make a reservation. Since they are located on Newbury St, parking can be a pain. You can also take the train. The food is top notch authentic Spanish cuisine and the wait staff is very willingly to help you make your dinner choices. They have specials that change weekly and a number of vegetarian options available. Their wine list is constantly ch... read more

too pricey not the quality you expect – The food was good but WAY too expensive for what it was. Yes, it was unique but get ready to spend about $50 per person and not even be full and the quality wasn't there in some items. For example, the tiny bowl of beef stew tapas had chunks of fat and tendon in the meat($9.50), me and my friend were so grossed out we couldn't eat it and there were only 3 pieces of meat in it. The tiny plate of shrimp in the garlic and butter was overcooked($9.50) but I was able to dip my bread in it w... read more

overrated, overpriced, and bad service – Was given a gift certificate ($65) to this place and finally went and checked it out. To my surprise, the prices were higher than other tapas places I've been to. My gf and I ordered about $55 worth of food and when I paid with the gift certificate, the waiter said he couldn't give me change. WTF?? He kept saying, "No, I CANNOT give you change." At first I thought I misheard him, but after a couple of minutes of him INSISTING he could not give me change, he suggested that we order ano... read more
