Stopped in a late afternoon during the week. During our time there we clearly noticed that this is a bar run by the locals which is fine. The bartender, other than making our drinks never talk to us. Seem very standoffish to someone who's not a local. In that day., and while I guess they should have expected it, the locals hug a microphone and they do not know how to sing. Just felt like we were infringing on something that's only meant for locals, I would never come back again.

Had an amazing late-night experience at Bar Tapas Waikīkī! We went on a slow night, and it turned out to be the best thing possible—the atmosphere was so relaxed and cozy. Our bartender, Johnny, was an absolute highlight. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made some of the best drinks we've had in a long time. It felt less like a typical bar and more like hanging out with an old friend. Can't wait to come back next time we're in Waikiki!
Staff is all very friendly and cocktails are good. Atmosphere...id love if it would redo to a bit upscale, but its very typical gay bar.
