I normally don’t write reviews for my doctors, but I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Mehta. From day one, he treated me (and my family) with a level of care, attention, and respect that went far beyond what I expected. Managing heart failure is overwhelming, but he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question patiently, and never made us feel rushed. The staff at Maine Cardiology are kind and professional. Dr Mehta, on the other hand, is completely lacking in bedside manner. He spent most of the time he was in the exam room diddling around on the computer, though he simultaneously seemed to be completely unfamiliar with what my cardiac issues are. I will be looking for a different doctor.
