This is a quant place on the way to Taos Ski Valley. Whenever we visit Red River we make a day trip to Taos, and stop in at the Taos Cow. The ice cream is always delicious, and on this trip we had lunch there as well. All our meals were prepared fresh, and they were outstanding. My only complaint, as a person who travels with our family dogs, is that the Taos Cow had several signs up that said "Pets are not welcome anywhere on the property." Cute little place out in the middle of nowhere really....on the road up to Taos Ski Valley. We came up here on a suggestion from friends who have been...it was 10 miles out of our way that day, but...WOWZA! Ice cream was reeeeeally good!!. I had the coffee orea, which was creamy smooth, good amount of oreo chunks in it, and great coffee flavor, in a nice crunchy waffle cone, which didn't leak at the bottom, like many I've had. I usually frequented the Cow in the mornings until recently. I was treated poorly my last few visits by a blonde haired woman with a thick accent that I assume just started. There used to be a girl named Misty that worked often... seemed like every single day, who was always very nice and made my drink perfectly. She has since been replaced by this woman who is quite bossy and rude unless she seems to know you personally. A unique place to visit with great food and Ice Cream!!!!
Good coffee good food nice staff. I enjoy green chilly philly and the rueban sandwhiches soups are always good with a grilled cheese I always receive my order in a timely manner. Thank you Taos Cow great pastries too
