Dr. Taormina & Co. 1 star because that’s the lowest I can go. Worst neurological office I’ve had to deal with in almost a decade of my MS. Makes everything so difficult for no reason and are so condescending. Like if you don’t like your field of work get a new job. Unless you have an illness that doesn’t require much interaction from them please do your self a favor and go elsewhere. This Doctor Does not care would mot listen to concerns of a TBI. Didn't review records and did a exam that was a joke. He is incompetent and I wouldn't trust him with my Dog
I have tremendous respect for Dr. Taormina. During a 7-year period, another Statesboro practice failed to diagnose my MS, despite what I now know to be obvious symptoms. By contrast, Dr. Taormina listened carefully, treated me with respect, and guided me through the process of getting the necessary MRIs. He made a detailed and accurate diagnosis, and he directed me to an MS Center of Excellence in Atlanta to ensure that I could get thoroughgoing long-term care. NEGATIVE STARS - Worst physician in 55 years. Bedside manner is better suited for a coroner. Didn't know or care about my decades-old medical HISTORY. Won't listen and doesn't seem to care to hear anything you say. He spent 10 minutes evaluation a 34-year old military injury and had the audacity to tell me what I could do, in his opinion. If consult is for SSID, have SSID reschedule with a better doctor. He is indignant and rude with SSID patients.
He never came in with a notebook/laptop, and once even had to ask me what medicine he had me on. Demeaned my issues. Probably couldn't sleep because I'm a "typical teen texting all night"(Last thing I'd like to do with a migraine is look at a screen) . Had me taking too much meds to the point my pharmacist cut me off. Oh, and he also failed to inform me this medication was an antidepressant, so getting cut off cold turkey was just a grand ole time. Waiting to long
We are new to the area and i was looking for a neurologist for my husband read the reviews for dr taromina and was very impressed by the reviews. I am so glad I found Dr. Taromina. Wonderful doctor took his time and talked to my husband to make sure that he would know exactly how to treat him. Would recommend Dr. Taromina to anyone.
The lady at the desk was helpful and very friendly and they have a nice and clean environment
