I don't know how to start this story. I'm simply trying to get an allergy test for my son. The lead physician at this facility is Indian—I believe her family was once immigrant, just like mine. Yet, I faced prejudice and racism because I do not speak English. As soon as I walked in I was not acknowledged for 15 mins when there was NOBODY in the office. Then I went on to wait another 30 mins in a room, again there was 1 patient ahead of me that was it. Went on to explain what I was there for, and without any test was told that I needed an EPI and prescribed one (got the call a couple days after). She also said that my next reaction will be deadly again WITHOUT ANY tests.
