Visiting Kansas City for the weekend, followed recommendations on Google and Boy were we surprised… great little find, amazing wine and even better food. Great service and atmosphere highly recommended if you’re visiting downtown Kansas City.
This is one of our favorite spots to go before a show at the Kauffman Center. The staff is super friendly and the food (and wine) is excellent. I would recommend Tannin to anyone.
Fancy, legit wine, ok steak frites but, late night. Just witnessed owner/manager give a free meal to a homeless man at the bar so good people at the helm
Fun place and food was good. Much too noisy to enjoy our conversation catching up with friends even though we were in a booth which was quieter than out front. He did such a good job Appetizers were tasty. Light pours on the wines past the first pour. Questioned the light pour and got a laughable 2 more tablespoons! Ordered deserts as well and the peanut butter one was an average size cookie on a plate with sauce. So I would say expensive for what you get.
Tannin is always lovely. The staff is amazing, food is fantastic and the wine selection is unbeatable.
