Patient care is not a priority once the dentist received full payment and the office receptionist is extremely rude and condescending.
DO NOT GO HERE, I had never had a cavity and my teeth were strong before going here; and I never had pain or anything of the kind. And after just one cleaning , my teeth started feeling weaker and I noticed that there were spots on my teeth that weren't there before. THEY CREATE THE CAVITIES!! After my first visit he says, he found 10 cavities and I need a root canal. WAIT WHAT?? So, of course I was taken back ; long story short I made a stupid decision and got him to fix them. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS---Dr. Fagan is a scam artist. He told me I needed two crowns and since this was my first time having major dental work done, I trusted him and agreed to do the work. I later found out from another dentist in NY that I did not even need those crowns (out of state doctors/dentists will tell you the truth, but local doctors/dentists will never talk bad about one another). This guy is not a professional. His office recommended that I have my mercury filings replaced and when the job was done - I was in pain for two weeks (still am). He told me that ultimately there was nothing he could after he tried filing the filings down and prescribing amoxicillin. I paid this jerk 1400 dollars for an hours worth of work and my teeth are still causing extreme pain - I can t even sleep at night! Don t ever get fillings from him - he is obviously taking some kind of shortcut or is just incopetent.
Stay Away!! – I definitely would not recommend Dr. Fagan, owner (and dentist) of Tannersville Dental Care. He is completely overpriced and incompetent. I wouldn't mind if he charged alot and did a good job, but he does not. I had to return twice to his office to have one tooth filled. He even billed my insurance company twice, and it was his own fault that I had to return to his office. how can it be legal his charges for a cap...its a mortgage!!!! ridiculous.....
I would never recommend this dentist to anyone.Hes charging more than manhattan(Ive moved here from there)and he doesnt speak to much to the patiens,explain them what is supposed to be done.
