I was able to get in quickly. The doctor didn’t seem comfortable talking about women issues or questions about sexual health or women’s health. He was rushing out of the room before answering my questions and referred me to a specialist. If you can’t talk to your doctor about this stuff who do you talk to? We pay them to listen hoping for answers. I would not recommend him as your MD.
Dr. Leavitt seems to be a fine doctor until/unless you have a problem with your pregnancy. He addressed most concerns by saying “well, that’s pregnancy” and after telling him several times I felt I was going to go into preterm labor(this was not my first pregnancy), he responded by telling me I’d be fine. I ended up going into preterm labor several weeks before my due date and when I requested he put me on a medication to stop my labor - in attempt to stay pregnant as long as possible- he denied my requests. Critt is hands down the best doctor I have ever encountered. Patient, caring and actually listens to his patient’s. I’m never leaving his care, been through many medical things from Crohn’s to cancer. He is worth the wait and is very busy.
Dr. Leavitt is a fantastic doctor. He is a great listener and does what is best for the patient.

"Practice Closed"... I called Tanner Clinic in July 2019 to schedule with Critt Aardema. They told me the soonest he would see new patients was September 9th. I was a little hesitant to schedule so I thought about it for a couple weeks. On the one hand- this guy must be pretty good if he's so booked up... I went to Dr. Leavitt when I was pregnant with my first born. He was always kind and asked me if I had any questions. The problem with this is I didn’t know what to expect, or ask, since it was all new. I had preeclampsia which resulted in the loss of my baby at 37 weeks. I feel Dr. Leavitt helped me, but I always will think that there could have been more attention placed on my swollen legs and pains that I was feeling so things may be different today.
