Horrible arrogant doctor with serious issues. Zero regard for patients, medical protocol, or laws. He blatantly violated hospital rules, knowing full well that there was nothing our family could do about it. Kaiser is an over-bloated bureaucratic mess, which makes it easy for bad actors like Dr. Saxena to fly under the radar. Dr. Tanmai Saxena decided to release a patient early from Kaiser Anaheim Hospital WITHOUT EXAMINING THEM because... and I quote directly from Saxena, "It's my decision to make." He never met or physically examined the patient in question, but he felt full confidence making medical decisions for them blindly over the phone. Dr. Saxena violated his Hippocratic Oath and Kaiser Hospital policy that day. Without Dr. Saxena, I know my mom wouldn’t have made it. He quickly assessed and flagged her condition and as a precaution advised we send her to the hospital based on the symptoms she was experiencing. He was calm, kind and explained there was nothing to be alarmed about which was comforting given no one could come to the hospital as it was at the height of covid. Without his medical advice, my mom would’ve suffered a heart episode and instead, we caught it in time and is alive today because of him.That is the type of medic... read more
