Great Indian Food in Fishkill We love Tanjore. The food is always fresh and yummy. The mango lassi cannot be beat. Kids will love the most of the food too!
Awesome indian food... This place is the best food around if you want authentic Indian Cuisine. I have had catering done from them and they have never let me down. They prepare north indian and south indian cuisine. Veggie dishes and meat dishes are to die for!!!! Dont be fooled by the location, its a little run down, but inside the food is like diamonds. They have two locations, one in red hook and fishkill. There buffets are awesome..full service and VERY resonable in price. They are also zagat rated as well!
Great food! The food at Tanjore is delicious! The lunch buffet has a generous variety of dishes and is very reasonably priced. We have only been to the Fishkill location and hope to try the new Rhinebeck restaurant soon. Highly recommended!

I just finished what could arguably be the best meal I've ever had. The vegetarian Sabji Sag Malai (mixed vegetables tempered with garlic, ginger cooked in a mild spinach gravy) was out of this world delicious. I would be very happy dipping nan in that sauce as a snack every single day. When we were done eating I told my husband that I felt like calling just to thank the chef, but came here instead to tell everyone. 10/10 will order again. Thank you!
The food is delicious and everyone is friendly.
Delicious as usual! Super clean; wiping all surfaces between customers while I was getting takeout. They even sanitize the pens! My favorite: Palak paneer.
They have big time rat issue.
