Worth the trip! This place is off the beat and path but it is like eating home cooking. Flavor, fresh and quality ingredients makes the food stand out when you have so many "Mexican" food choices in Tucson. Ground beef tacos dorados are loaded. Rolled chicken tacos are amazing. Their soups are great Albondigas, Menudo, Caldo de queso. My husband loves the enchiladas, I love the red chili burrito...I am still making my way through the menu. I call in and take out the order for convenience.
just like my mom's came here from mexico to visit some friends, wasn't expecting much from a "Mexican" food place on the US, but have to say: wow! Really Mexican flavor, just like my mom makes it =)

OMG! Delicious to the M-A double X! MAXX! I always go eat here before I go to my Alcoholics Anonymous meetings! The food is great. I even eat it for breakfast so I can get through my day of dealing with EXTERNALS!!!!The parking lot is pretty hood though so be careful not to get shot by a Southsider. They are all over in this area! So hoodrat!
