The resort is really old and not kept up it really needs remodeling the dryer was broke the living room furniture was old and dirty had to put sheets on it to be able to sit down ,but we made the best of it

I would strongly advise anyone considering VRI Tanglwood Resort to stay away, as we have been owners since 2013 and, despite our contract being fully paid off, they will not let us cancel our account. What was promised to be a 60-minute presentation turned into a 5-hour high-pressure ordeal where we were cycled through four different representatives until we purchased. Clean, renovated room with full kitchen, large bathroom and balcony overlooking the lake. We were fortunate to meet and get to know Virginia and Tony while eating at the Lodge restaurant. Food was excellent! Overall, a very pleasant experience!
