RecommendedMy husband and I love the atmosphere at the “hotel” where a lot of locals hang out. It’s Owosso’s version of CHEERS!!! Food is great company is greater! If you are looking for a comfortable place to drink, dine and meet people...come on down!
All of the restaurants in Owosso have been affected by Covid. It has been difficult to react to no mask customers to super safe mask customers. All have done a super job. Nina, Pat, Liz, Shad and others did a great job and now the Cheers Bar is beginning to have life again. Try dollar shrimp on Tuesday or Flatbread and boneless wings on Wednesday.
I will say hands down Tanglewood is the place to be, whether you need a quiet place in the dining room or you want to socialize and meet people from all over the world...the bar area is the place to make that happen. The staff here does their best to accommodate your needs. Drinks are great, food is even better! Inquire about half of apps... you won’t regret your options and the savings to your bottom line!
Tanglewood is a great down home Restaurant/Bar with very friendly people. Nina is always friendly and very attentive to her guests.

How is this place open? Don't order a salad or appetizer because it all comes out at the same time. Giant portions of mediocre food at best. Ordered shrimp dinner and the shrimp were so obviously frozen from a box heated up. No crunch, no taste and no quality. Baked potatoes cooked well however clearly not cleaned before being baked. I sat with and empty drink for ten minutes and being lied to by the waitress didn't help her service score. Food was very good and wide variety
Food was good and waitress was great considering she was the only one taking orders, bringing the food and taking care of bar customers. She really was doing a spectacular job!
Cran orange mules, 16 oz ribeye, chili spicy 🌶 glazed salmon, baked potato’s, salads and rolls. Large dinner salads as well. Only problem we had was the ribeye we ordered med-rare came to us RARE!!! Good thing we don’t mind it that way sometimes, but it will be great leftovers. Salmon was very tender and tasted great! Baked potatoes were large and flavorful as well. Will go back and bring friends.
