Tanglewoods is a down-to-earth, all-you-can-eat restaurant and we always take our out of town guests there for dinner. Everyone loves it.
Great country food! I love the food here - it reminds me of growing up in SW Virginia, and big, traditional Sunday dinners. The drive out is a refreshing change for the overdeveloped areas of Henrico, and the pace is relaxing. Meals usually include 2 meats, breads, and a wide variety of vegetables.
Food OK, Service Bad, Never cashed my check Tanglewood Ordinary looks like a very cute place to eat. It is rustic on the outside and inside- like a little log cabin. It is family style dining. They bring everything out in big bowls that you share with everyone at your table (you generally do not have to sit with people you don't know). It is all you can eat, and runs about $14 per person.
