Unsure what her skill set is with regular hair, but for curly hair this was a miss. She advertises Deva Cuts as a service but does not do the full process, and offered no education on products or home styling following the appointment. After the cut my hair had awkward chunky layers throughout and no connection from the layers to the bottom resulting in awkward shelves of curl, and it was crooked in the back. 🙃
I wish I would've had the opportunity to have my hair cut; however, an hour and a half prior to my appt. She asks if we could move it back 1.5 hours. I tell her I can't and no response. I come ON TIME to my appt (after getting multiple texts and emails to confirm my time, and having to put in my credit card info in case of no-show) and she tells me that she's an hour out. Karyl is a magician! She can take my ramblings about what I want my hair to look like and make it turn out EXACTLY as I was thinking. She is hilarious, kind, and uses cruelty free products - you can't get better than that! She is friendly with everyone I have seen her interact with and is very accommodating. If you want your hair to look amazing and like nice people you need to get your hair done here (women and men)!
Karyl is a fun & very talented stylist. I have followed her for over 30 years and recommend her highly!
