I had an issue with my shipment (it’s now figured out) and called to check in. I spoke with a customer representative in the supply department and she was amazing. Not only was she helpful but she was very kind and caring. She got everything shorted out very quickly and made sure I got continuous updates until my package was delivered. Tandem only supports the newest and nicest phone models. If you think you have a new, nice phone, the iOS engineers and Tandem will work together to make sure your software doesn't work unless you purchase an even newer and even nicer phone. Bolus features will stop working one morning, and you'll find they updated you right out of the picture; your phone will become incompatible due to updates. Calling my Endo to look into Medtronic options, this cash cow is leaving the ranch.
This device is a total joke. Both the app and the pump has constant failures. These holes should die
Zero support for insulin pumps "out of warranty". Will be looking for a reputable manufacturer for my next pump. Good luck trying to contact them, too.
I’ve received good customer service here but you can’t update your preset order without calling them first. So when they needed to send a charger cover to everyone, it now shows up as something I have to pay extra for on the next order and I have to wait on hold to get it and other non prescription things like adhesive sleeves removed, instead of being allowed to request order edits online like you can with Medtronic.
