Brought my cat here. My cat is very furry, found out his stool was stuck to his fur making him unable to poop. The clinician called after an hour and told us he just needed his butt shaved and it would be about an hour. 2 1/2 hours later, we called and were told he hasn’t been seen yet but he was up next. Another hour goes by and finally get a call saying the techs got done shaving him and waiting for him to wake up. Staff needs to understand what customer service is. Stay in contact with your clients. If it is going to take... read more

Awful place. Waited all day and my cat still didn’t improved. They sent me out with liquid enema for my cat to take for his constipation and instead of my cat pooping, he wasn’t able to poop for 5 days! With no call from a doctor who’ve seen my cat and after 5 days taking enema and finally finishing the entire bottle the vet dr gave us, instead of getting better, My cat just gotten worst. I decided to take him to companion pet clinic in 82nd on the 5th day not being able to poop. Right after we got home from that vet clinic,... read more

Very disappointing! So many people have had good experiences here. Not "Ruger" and I (he appeared to have kennel cough)! Originally, I was told on the phone, wait time would be 6-8 hrs. We had no where else that would take him in less than a week. I was told we were then 3rd in line. So we made the 1 hr drive there. When we arrived, we were still 3rd. 2 hrs passed with no word from their office. I called them asking about the wait. It had changed to us being 2nd in line. Another 2 hrs passed, and I was still being led on... read more

While expensive, this place saved my dog Shadow's life, so well worth the money. My dog was hospitalized with aspiration pneumonia and then went into renal failure, they had him for five days. Dr. Goranson, Dr. North, Dr. Dionisio and Dr. Rivaleau saved his life and he made a complete recovery to normal health within a few weeks. The vets were responsive, called us regularly to keep us in the loop and listened when we had concerns. My husband and I recommend this vet ER highly.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! I paid almost over a thousand dollars for my overnight visit with my cat. They were unable to identify the cause of him not eating or drinking in that 24 hours. Took him to my daytime vet, and they found painful gingivitis on his back left gums within 10 minutes. This veterinary office will do nothing more than treat your pet. They will not do a good job of finding the actual issue. It is also VERY VERY OVERPRICED. How can you not identify a simple issue when charging me that much?

Take your pet to another Emergency Vet! I took my 9 month old kitten to Tanasbourne Emergency at my veterinarian’s urging for a possible urinary blockage and I was not given sufficient information about his illness to understand his treatment options or what symptoms to be watching out for. They told me he had FLUTD not a blockage, but did not explain what was needed to prevent a blockage from occurring. They did not explain the condition he should be in after discharge. Or what to do if he continued to refuse food or water... read more

Had the most horrifying experience at the Tanasbourne Veterinary Emergency clinic. My cat swallowed a needle at just after 4:30pm on Thursday evening. I called my vet immediately and they told me to go to this place. I took my cat in and they were in the middle of a 'shift change' so it would be over an hour before they could even look at my cat. The vet tech that came to the parking lot to get Jasper told me that I should go home and that they would call me. I went home and waited over an hour for them to call me back, ... read more
