I was in need of a new physician cuz I can no longer go to my pediatrician since I am past the allotted age. I was searching for a nice, patient doctor to become my new physician. I did not find that with her. She rushed the entire appointment, and did what she wanted without listening to how I was feeling or what I wanted out of treatment. This was a terrible attempt at trying to find a new physician.

Very first visit Dr walked in talking immediately about what I needed - never introduced herself or greeted me. Rude, rushed walked out after saying see you at next visit. No she won’t. How did she last this long still having patients ??

i moved to Mississippi from FL and found her and made her my primary dr. I thought Singing River was going to be bought by Oschner which she is a part of. That has not happened. on my first appointment she was not patient, rushed, and changed my BP meds. I had been having acute diverticulitis and she wrote on my chart i seem unhappy. Diverticulitis is very painful so not cheerful going through that. ended up having to get part of colon removed. so a week after surgery my BP is shooting up at home166/100 and i’m faint. i have... read more

I had moved out of town to Texas to help with my daughters “cancer treatments” at MD Anderson in Houston. When I called to get a month extension on my meds (which I’ve been taking for several years and one is an allergy Med) she wouldn’t even give me a month till I found a primary care doctor! Don’t they understand that every patient and person is an individual and has different circumstances. It’s not a cookie cutter situation. Tana Cooper needs to be more eclectic in her decision making. When I went to Ocean Springs Singin... read more

Dr was rude, didn’t care to find out about me, she came in said” I see you’ve canceled app in the past”, why? I lost a daughter in February she dies of cancer and had to fly to Pa where I was from, Dr didn’t care anything about what I’ve been dealing with, very unfeeling, then she started saying I’d have to find a different Dr that she couldn’t treat me because I told her I had concerns about medications, I’ve NEVER been treated that badly by a Dr before, what happened to caring Drs that her truly concerned about people and ... read more

She didn’t listen, didn’t care and interrupted me over and over until I raised my voice out of frustration and she kicked me out. I’m disappointed that after years of seeing her I only now realize how badly I’ve been treated. I feel like she only cares about getting to the next patient and the next payment on her Porsche. I’m a grown adult and I’m not trying to besmirch her name, but I deal with the elderly and the sick on a daily basis…I am writing this for them because they should have a doctor that is able to feel for the... read more

Dr. Cooper and her staff are amazing! She provides exceptional care and properly works up the patient (many other providers do not). I strongly recommend Dr. Cooper for your primary care needs.
