Decent Chinese food As a college student- sampling chinese food is an art. Tan may is one of the many chinese restaurants located in my vicinity. I have never been to Tan May itself, but their chinese food is better than many of the other restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed their orange chicken. The food prices are competitive with the other restaurants nearby.
Good Take-Out Tan May is a really good chinese place. I've never picked up food from there, but when they deliver it's all been good and their service was pretty fast. I'd recommend it if you're in the mood for chinese take-out.
It's okay, but it's not Number 1! The food here is mediocre at best. It's your typical Chinese takeout place, but possibly a little worse than normal. My fortune cookies are almost always stale, and the egg rolls are soggy. In addition, the delivery men are almost always crabby - the service is really terrible. Your best bet is to order from Number 1 China - not only is their food better, but they serve it in reusable plastic containers!
Good deal and Great food I love the food at Tan May. They are nice people but do not ever visit the restaurant. They have not updated the store in a long time and it looks very run down. I also hate how they always forgot to give utensils to the people who order for delivery.
good food! I have only ordered a couple of times from this place, but every time that I have, the food has been good. I really like their sesame chicken and they deliver food relatively quickly. I would definitely recommend it if you were in the mood for Chinese food.
