This place has given people like me, who are on a tighter income, a chance to receive the guidance and support that we need. I was given the chance that I didn’t think I had and matched with a great counselor! Already have seen improvements in myself and I haven’t felt more comfortable in exploring the path to a healthier mental state.

I had a really positive experience with Miss Iverry. She created a safe, comfortable space where I felt heard and supported. During our session, we talked about difficult topics including PMDD, childhood experiences, anxiety, and possible childhood trauma. Even though these subjects were emotional, she was patient, compassionate, and never made me feel rushed or judged. I left the session feeling relieved and hopeful. I can’t recommend Tampa Counseling Place enough, especially my therapist, Iverry. From the very beginning, she created a safe, welcoming, and completely judgment-free environment where I felt comfortable opening up about things I had kept bottled up for a long time. I’ve only been to one therapist in my life, and Dr. Dennie has helped me in so many ways—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. He helped me break through walls I didn’t even realize I had built up over the years. I just wanna say if I could give more than a 5 star review I would. Dr. Denny aka Dr.D has transformed my life in ways unimaginable before meeting with him. Countless hours and sessions later, I wholeheartedly recommend him and this practice. Talking to someone is the first step, and I’m sure glad that my first steps were into Dr.Denny’s office!
