This is the second time I've had work done by this ACE mechanic and gentleman. He essentially does everything himself although he did have a young man helping him today. I had a major oil leak in my 1986 Toyota, brought it in unannounced in the morning and he had it done by 6 PM. I trust this man's integrity, he found other problems, hoses and belts and changed them. Even steam cleaned my engine!!! If you have a vehicle problem and don't want to get ripped off, take yourself to Tamm's!!! Al Kealoha
The Best Sept 2008 I just had work done on my '86 Toyota long bed, front brake rotors needed resurfacing, new pads, a new muffler and had it smogged. Midas gave me an estimate of $1560. and Meinike not much different. A fellow Kanaka told me of this little place on Geary and 38th so I took my brah's suggestion. Was I glad!!!! $550 and I was done! great service! I've been here several times. Great service and great prices. I needed to have a muffler changed and they have a variety of mufflers to choose from. They had my car in and out of there within a few hours. They were very professional. They also did a great job on checking/replacing my breaks. Everything was finished quickly.
Excellent service, and honest a mechanic. This small little gas station and repair, is truly one of the best places around for your auto needs. They offer great, great service when you need servicing of your car, and all of the staff seem really nice, and friendly. They offer competitive prices on there service, and doesn't seem too pushy with adding this service or the next. There location also isn't bad, since there isn't a crowd of cars usually at the location. Highly recommended.
