My son is very sick so I got an appointment and Dr. Tamika Patilla was the provider able to see my son. Despite my son being very sick and clearly having an upper respiratory infection and saying his ears hurt, runny nose and coughing up phlegm, Dr. Patilla said his ears looked good, nose was somewhat runny but fine and chest was fine despite him having a rattly cough. Yesterday I went in with my son For his yearly check up. She did a full examination. She said he was perfectly fine.Today I am leavingThe urgent care where my son was diagnosed with an ear infection. This isn’t the first time unfortunately.
I honestly don't think she listens to everything that is wrong. One of my children were missed diagnosed by her recently. Said lungs were clear, didn't order a chest xray. Took him to the emergency room and he has pneumonia in his right lung.
I've always felt she listened to any concerns regarding my three children. She is friendly and kind and asks non judgemental questions.
You'd probably be better off diagnosing your kids on your own to be honest. You could explain 10 symptoms to her and she hears what she wants and that's about it.
