I brought my Kia Rio in for recall service on 6/19/2024 and still don' t have it back as of 3/8/2025. It is currently not roadworthy when there was nothing wrong with it when I brought it in to the service center. I saw the 5 star rating on here and couldn't let that stand. Especially when the other review is regarding SALES, not SERVICE.
My wife brought our 2013 Kia Rio in for 2 recall updates on 6/19/2024. The car had NO mechanical issues whatsoever. It ran perfectly. This is a car with about 88K miles on it. It still has a LOT of life in it and was garage kept. They tried to run the update for the security issues Kia is dealing with, and it FRIED the Body Control Module. Brought my Kia telluride in August 12 for noise in the rear. After the runaround several times and 3 service advisors later, there has still not been anything done. Even though the issue was diagnosed 3 weeks ago, there has been excuse after excuse for not fixing it. Today is September 21 and nothing has been fixed.
