About this business

This restaurant strives to present the best of Indian dining in a trendy Vegas setting. Their website says "if Bollywood had a Rat Pack, this is where they'd hang." The decor uses prominent red and gold as its theme colors with a massive Buddha statue that dominates the space. The food is authentic Indian with a modern flair and the kitchen presents a huge lunch buffet. The Tandoor (clay oven) is the highlighted cooking utensil, where naan, chicken Tikka, fish Tandoori and Masala dishes are some of the best in the entire sta... read more

Great for lunch buffet Don't listen to 1 and 2 star reviews! You just need to know this place is best suited for the buffet lunch, or a CASUAL meal, and not for a fine dining night out. For that go to Gaylord or some other higher end place.

Great for lunch buffet Don't listen to 1 and 2 star reviews! You just need to know this place is best suited for the buffet lunch, or a CASUAL meal, and not for a fine dining night out. For that go to Gaylord or some other higher end place. We make a stop at Tamba for the lunch buffet every trip out to Vegas. My Indian friends are the ones who introduced the place to me and they would know good food! Sure, service isn't particularly friendly, but with the buffet I'm serving myself anyway. Bottom line, great place for a quick... read more

Never going here again – First of all, I hate writing reviews, but i had to write one. After reading some of the other negative reviews, this review will reinforce it a little more. 1. Parking: These guys need to advertise or at least put up signs on parking. Las Vegas BLVD is not the friendliest place especially when you are new in town and on top of that a tourist. 2. Service was generally good, but not the best. I think Sushi restaurants do a far better job that these guys. 3. Food quantity: I had some Nan(?) and some Chi... read more

Not one of the better Indian Buffets in town I was brought here by an Indian who said he heard this was the best Indian restaurant in town. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to its reputation. First off the location is horrible, it is located in the nearly deserted food court in front of Polo Towers. Parking is far away and it isn't surprising that so few people frequent this restaurant. The prices are a little higher than area Indian Buffets. Because so few people come to this buffet, the food sits in the steam trays congeal... read more

yummy I like to eat their curry. I found this place after I visited the restaurant next door, called China Star Buffet. Food is very tasty. Whenever I visit Las Vegas I always go there to eat.

Pretty Place - But You Pay For It The only great thing about this place is the ambiance. If you're looking for great Indian food at an affordable price, you're knocking on the wrong "darwaja".

Indian Food Gone Bad – First of all, the location: How the hell does one park in this restaurant. There aren't any parking signs so i had to park somewhere in a casino across the street to get to this place in this blistering Vegas heat. When I got there, I thought the place would be amazing based on the looks. WRONG..! The food was horrible, there was more sauce than meat. Granted the only thing they have going is their buffet which is probably the only variety they have. Totally disappointed. My uncles own restaurants arou... read more

Not a Good Place to Eat – I was totally unhappy with their service. The decor look decent, but not the best. Parking was ridiculous and I can't believe I had to park a ways in order to get to their place. What disappointed me the most was their timing for lunch where you only have a few hours. The food on a scale of 1-10 is a 3. I got an upset stomach after I went to their place and that's the first sign of food that isn't great. I've been to many restaurants around the west coast and these guys are definitely not the best. ... read more
